Good to see you, Keith.

I know we are all aware deep down it goes on, but it is frustrating when they downright lie about it.

I'm sure they don't disclose identities to individual staff with the feedback, but what the hell ARE they keeping the data for?

Like you say, who is watching Big Brother?

Nothing is secret anymore. Even when you go to the polls in a general or local election the faceless wonders (our masters) can find out how you voted quite easily.

You have a polling number on the register of voters, lets say its RFFT678. The man at the table asks for your name and address or your number, then puts a tick by your name and hands you a voting slip. He writes your number on the counterfoil which is also numbered, say j2Onerd which is the same number on your voting slip.

You put you cross next to your preferred candidate, smug in the knowledge that no-one knows who you voted for.

Wrong! RFFT678 + j2Onerd = you + your address.

Then, "Sergeant! Take this man outside and shoot him! he voted for Tony Blair!"

I am a lot older than you and I can remember that in the late 40's and 50's you could guarantee wonderful hot sunny summers every year, but the winters were much colder with lots of snow etc. In the 40's we had "spitfire summers", the sky was so clear that you could lie on your back and watch the warplanes shooting it out high above.

But now, thanks to environmental pollution and global change all that has gone. Inceidently there was no such thing as "bar-b-ques
